Duuniskooppi is a website dedicated to bringing together employer representatives and educators and to facilitate work life visits for upper secondary students.
The website contains resources for educators and employer representatives wishing to participate in work life visits for upper secondary students. In addition, the website educates young people and their families about the different possibilities offered by employers.
Duuniskooppi has a search engine that educators may use to find suitable workplaces to visit based on subject or field of employment.
KoKiVa project
KoKiVa is an ESF-funded project: 01/06/2022 – 31/10/2023. This project is a joint project by University of Oulu (primary responsibility) and the city of Oulu (secondary responsibility). The project develops a work life visit model for promoting the planning of future career paths for upper secondary school students by raising awareness of work life. The project creates pedagogical and digital tools to support the implementation of work life visits. Activities are developed in cooperation with organisations, subject teachers, study counsellors and upper secondary school students in the region.
